ARGENTINE CULTURAL CORNER
Modernizing a Historic Library
The Argentine Cultural Corner is a library and meeting place within the Embassy of Argentina in Washington, DC. Open to the public, the space features a collection of over 2,500 books, films, CDs, and electronic documents assembled to complement the dissemination and promotion of Argentina’s cultural wealth and diversity in the United States.
Taking inspiration from colors of the Argentine flag, the renovation updates the existing historic and dark library of the Embassy and transforms it into a light-filled and inclusive space for the public.
Scope of work includes concept development, space planning, fixture and finish selection, branding graphics design and installation, and construction administration.
